The Leca Project;
learning environment for children with autism

The Leca Project is a design research initiative which defines the relevance of an inclusive learning environment in the perceptual, cognitive and behavioural development of children with autism.

 In collaboration with participating schools in the UK, Research Autism and other professionals in the fields of design, child and adolescent studies and pedagogy, the Leca Project has designed and manufactured workspaces and integrated learning resources. It is currently extending and evaluating these prototypes within an inclusive learning environment for children with autism.

The following details of secured IPRs indicate the scope of continuing research and development;

Class 16: Printed materials; educational books; printed teaching resources and instructional literature; printed materials relating to the education of autistic children.
